4 Highly Sensitive Women

In recent weeks, we have learned the story of Elaine Aron, who coined the term High Sensitivity, Alanis Morissette and Judith Orloff, the psychiatrist who has been combining sensitivity of the body, mind and spirit in her practice.

Today, I decided to bring four names of women who, throughout this last month of research, offered me precious insights into high sensitivity.

Sofia Loureiro

Sofia reports on her website that she experienced burn-out, but currently leads a life more in line with her sensitivity.

She is certified in the specialty of Highly Sensitive People by the Nickerson Institute, and is also an integral part of Dr Elaine Aron's list of Therapists.

In addition to the website sofialoureiro.com and Sofia's Instagram, it's worth checking out the PodCast: The World of Highly Sensitive People, which has more than 50 episodes full of valuable information on the topic.

Rosalira dos Santos

Rosalira is a mentor specializing in Highly Sensitive People (HSP), speaker and creator of the Love Your Sensitivity program.

She discovered her personality trait at age 50. This changed her life. Currently, she is dedicated to helping other HSPs embrace their sensitivity, reduce overwhelm, and achieve their life goals, stress-free and with confidence.

In addition to the website amesuasensabilidade.com.br and Rosalira's Instagram, I recommend her content on her YouTube channel: Ame Sua Sensibilidade with very informative videos.

Veronica Botelho

Veronica is a writer and psychotherapist. Polyglot, speaks and writes in 5 different languages, has lived in 15 cities on three different continents and is the author of “Meias Verdades” (2016).

As a result of her personal experience and a lot of study, she created her own theory and methodology – “Cultural Multiperception” which is based on seeing and experiencing the world from many points of view, that is, a possible solution to prejudices, stereotypes and processes of adaptation.

When researching the topic of High Sensitivity I fell head over heels for the text on her Blog: The Secret World of Highly Sensitive People, which brings her personal experience as a HSP.

Finally, I also recommend the text by Pureza Fleming : À Flor da Pele, published by the Hysteria website.

Purity Fleming is obsessed with words, like a good Gemini and has dedicated her life to them.

She worked as a copywriter in advertising agencies, however, it is through the world of magazines that, over the last decade, she has spread her words. She writes essentially about issues of behavior and society.
